I have a document based app and use the UIDocumentBrowserViewController. All works well with iCloud, OneDrive etc. but I've never had it work with GDrive. I can see the documents but any attempt to create or open a document fails. Haven't seen any other app work either EXCEPT the Pages app (so it IS possible.)
Anyone else made this work?
