I haven't been able to find any information or statements regarding the CVE-2019-14899 for (primarly) iOS by Apple. Is the vulnerability being handled or can I get any information regarding this anywhere? Would be nice to know if it is being worked on or at least has a timeline or something..

Apple never publishes information about security patches until after they are released. This particular issue is an extremely low risk.

Sorry, I can't speak for Apple. I definitely think Apple takes the right approach with these things. The few times there has been a really signficant issue, Apple has issued a statement saying a fix was coming. But then they get trashed for not issuing said statement fast enough. And then they get trashed for not issuing the fix fast enough. And if there is a problem with the fix, they get trashed for that too.
