MapKit JS Geocoder Not Authorized errors

EDIT: 3:27 PM Fri Jan 24 2020 MapKit JS geocoding services are back up for my web app.

My MapKit JS application that uses the geocoder is down today Jan 22 2020. The map for MapKit JS works fine.

Is MapKit JS geocoder having problems today?

Did the MapKit JS API change in some new way?

Jan 22 error:

{"error":{"message":"Not Authorized","details":[]}}

Jan 23 error:

mapkit.js:3 GET https://api.apple-mapkit.com/v1/geocode?q=Atlanta%2C%20GA&lang=en&mkjsVersion=5.36.0 500 (Internal Server Error)

I noticed the iOS MapKit API is fine.

Can someone please help?

Thank you in advance.

I filed one a TSI yesterday, they ended up giving me a refund for it & told me to submit a ticket via the feedback app. But it’s working for me too now.

I'm having the same issue too. My Geocoder API is not working & I haven't made any code changes to the map on my site. Getting 401 & 500 Errors. I've even tried removing my origin policy and its still not displaying.

It seems to be working for me now, check on your site.

Yup, happening here too. Would appreciate if the Apple staff here in the forum can chime in as to what’s going on.

Is it possible that Apple ignores this internal server error for two days?

i got a notification that an apple staffer replied to this saying it’s fixed, but it’s still not working for me

I filed a Technical Support Incident with Apple. I will report back if I hear something.
