Adding images to forum posts?

Is it possible to add images to forum posts? The UI for creating posts seems to allow it as I can drag an image in from the desktop and it shows up while composing the post, but once posted the images seems to be stripped.

Is it supposed to be supported, and if so how do I nurse it into working?

Not at the moment, but I expect it will be added in time.

I've observed precisely the behaviour you mention too, but currently images are strictly limited to paths within the domain for these forums (allowing ✅ 's and so on).

Quite a few people have been attempting to find a way around that, but none have succeeded so far...

We are in May 2019, we have folding phones, electric cars, cars that drive by themselves and in the official forum dedicated to developers, the company I work for cannot post a post containing an image or a link to ask for help?

This is ridiculous - as a long time Mac user it's painful to see Apple slowly (but consistently) transforming from a company focussed on user experience and ease of use to a stubborn enterprise insisting on dumbing down their products across the entire line of hw and sw offerings :-(
