I'm trying to add support for the Files App in my own app, however I'm coming across an issue related to extensions. My app contains Audio Unit extensions and it's crucial that the extensions can access user imported files. For this I obviously use the app groups shared folder, but this means that full integration with the Files App is impossible as it's locked to the main apps documents folder.
Are there any plans to allow the Files App access to the app group folder? I was hoping to use the Files App to create folders, move / delete files etc. in the apps folder, rather than creating my own in-app file browser, but it seems I don't have a choice with this limitation.
