Issues with external HDD's

Well, since Catalina some apps like Serviio mediaserver cannot access external drives no more, i know it is more likely the fault at Serviio but it is very annoying that one has no access to his own Harddrives, especially when it is only a reading access and not writing access. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4po1br6q165uzt6/Schermafbeelding%202019-07-26%20om%2020.21.55.png?dl=0

This is very likely NOT Serviio's fault.


All of Apple's own file servers built into macOS also fail as soon as you share external volumes.

This is the only app i have problems with opening external drives for reading only, might have to decompile that app to see if it is a java thing
