Speedtest.net results are slower on Catalina compared to Mojave. I've tested a number of locations using speedtest.net. The results are much lower compared to another Mac with Mojave connected the same way to the same router

I'm not trying to see the maximum speed but to compare situations. Even on the same machine, I made a clean installation of Mojave, tested the speed to a number of of locations. Then I installed Catalina beta 2 and I noticed a substantial drop in speed. In beta 3 there's some improvement. But it's not as good as it should be. Does anyone have ian dea? Is there something that should be done to the definitions to allow all browsers to use maximum available speed?

FWIW, all betas have extra code. It may simply be the extra code is slowing things down.
hello i noticed the same thing since i switched to catalina my speedtest are a lot slower than mojave!
I have fiber optic 1GB / 1GB with mojave I have 900/950 and with catalina 250/875 (same server)
Is there a solution?
