Why the “command lines tools beta 1” got pushed to my stable system?

I have a stable macOS mojave installed. Version 10.14.5. Yesterday I got this updated notification for “command line tools beta 1”. I didn't install it and just took a screenshot. But since my auto update was checked, it probably got installed during the night. Now I am worried. This happened on my stable Macbook Pro.

I have never enrolled for beta program for macOS. I had enrolled for iOS beta once, 2-3 years back. But that shouldn't affect my Mac.

Now, what should I do to undo this installation of beta software from my macOS and re-install stable version of it.

Thanks for all help.

On macOS 12.6 running on Apple Silicon (M1), I have the same prompt to "upgrade" to the beta 1 of Xcode 14.1 command line tools. I do not want to upgrade to any betas of the Xcode toolset.

Same here, Macbook pro 2019, OS 12.6, pushing Command Line Tools beta 1 for Xcode 14.1 . I wonder what the logic is behind this – how raw the beta is and where to opt in/out of the betas?

Why the “command lines tools beta 1” got pushed to my stable system?
