Option for Access to Certificates,Identifiers and profiles disabled

Creating a new Admin account or the existing accounts have the option for access to certificates, Identifiers and Profile disabled. I checked it Admin and Account Holder account. Our Apple developer account is paid. Can I know why do I see this issue?

Thanks in advance

Admin role in Member Center/team, or Admin role in App Store Connect/Users? Those are not the same thing and they do not have the same authorities.

Creating a new admin in member center does not make them account holder, so I suspect there is some confusion at work.

Hi There

I am struggling to get the check box available for Ticking for my developer - Has anyone found a solution to this ?

You might want to use the 'contact us' link below and see what support has to say...

In the very least, i had a similar issue to what's happening in the thread: correct access to app store connect, but no access to developer portal of the same org, although i'm an admin.

Solution:

Call up apple and talk to them. the agent had to 'reset' something on their end, then voila, the developer portal access showed what it was supposed to.

i hope this helps anyone.

The rules defined above and the details about all the access and user roles are explained at https://developer.apple.com/support/roles/

Be aware that at present, Individual type Apple Developer accounts cannot set Certificates,Identifiers and profiles for other users in the 'team'.

Only Organisation account types are able to do this.

Apple can change an Individual account to Organisation type at no cost, provided all required paperwork can be completed successfully.

(As told to me directly by Apple.)
