Hello, here are the iPhone Resolutions as you know;
Iphone Xs Max 414x896 points Render at 3x, 1242x2688 px
Iphone Xr 414x896 points Render at 2x, 828x1792 px
Iphone X, Xs 375x812 points. Render at 3x, 1125x2436 px
Iphone 6+, 6s+, 7+, 8+ 414x716 points, Render at 3x, 1242x2208 px
Iphone 6, 6s, 7, 8 375x667 points, Render at 2x, 750x1334px
Let's assume I would like to create a full page size background image with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator etc...
Can you confirm x, @2x, and @3x pixel sizes please;
Question1:
Is 375x667 px true for @x?
Is 750x1334 px true for @2x?
Is 1242x2688px true for @3x?
Question2:
Should the Reference be an iPhone Xs Max for the @3x size to show sharp full screen size background images?
Question3:
Can you write me x, 2x and 3x pixel sizes to show sharp full page background image please?
Or should i add these background image files in to Xcode;
1242x2688 (iPhone Xs Max)
828x1792 (iPhone Xr)
1125x2436 (iPhone X, Xs)
1242x2208 (iPhone 6+, 6s+, 7+, 8+)
750x1334 (iPhone 6, 6s, 7, 8 )
640x1136 (iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, SE)
and then set background image from code behind (viewController.swift file) regarding to the iphone model? (Question 4)
Why am i asking this question?
if i take 'iPhone Xs Max' as a @3x reference for the project and then we cant see this wallpaper sharp from iphone 7+, 8+.. Because ratio is different.
ratio of 1242x2688 is = 2.6 (iphone xs max)
ratio of 1242x2208 is = 1.7 (iphone7+, 8+)
Thanks, Selcuk
