Same same -- iMac shuts down at least once daily. We have two users set up on this machine:

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
64 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Radeon Pro 580 8 GB
I've reset the SMC and PRAM with absolutely no positive effect.
The fact that this has been going on for so long without any mention of an issue or fix from Apple is pretty bad -- you've taken a big reputational hit ...
