I am having the same problem here. I see this question has been asked 2 months ago and no apple developers have bothered to ask. My work-around has been to set a RPATH in the executable so it can find the library in the local directory, but that is wrong because all the documentation says that ~/Library/Frameworks is searched first and we rely on that. I want to know if this is an oversight, a mistake, or this directory is not going to be searched anymore in this and future versions of the OS. Is this search deprecated? It would be good to see it documented somewhere. I don't think we had a warning of this.
