Do MacOS and iOS provide the relevant APIs so that third-party browsers can also work with Screen Time? i.e. Currently when Screen Time blocks are enabled, the relevant websites are blocked in Safari, but not in third-party browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Brave etc. What I want to know is, does Apple offer the necessary APIs so that the developers of these browsers can support Screen Time's website-specific content blocks that Safari can? Are we likely to see third-party browsers start to support Screen Time blocks, or is there now way for them to offer this?
For example, currently, what use is being able to block Twitter or Facebook if you can still access them via the web interface in a third-party browser like Google Chrome? It makes the blocks pretty ineffective.
