Did you ever figure this out? I suspect this has to do with the fact you're in a module, hence the CoreDataExampleTests. prefix, and perhaps your model needs to match? But not sure. I have a similar issue at the moment.
Having the same issue here, thought I was going crazy for a sec, getting test errors like "2:30 AM is not equal to 2:30 AM" (where one of them has a narrow space char).
