I had the same issue. The app was installed and its settings were visible in the Settings app. I tapped on Siri & Search and turned off "Show App in Search" and then turned it on again and all was well.

Broken here too on beta 10. /usr/bin/kmutil load -p /System/Library/Extensions/smbfs.kext and sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/smbfs.kext do not fix it for me. The error: There was a problem connecting to the server. From the console: error 15:22:25.772855-0700 sharingd SDNetworkResolver: handleMountCallBack returned -50 error 15:22:25.778284-0700 kernel Sandbox: bird(341) deny(1) file-read-data /Users/xxxxxx

I had the same problem. I wasn't offered the choice of leaving the beta program. I suspect it's because I had been in it a few years ago but then I turned it off. I solved it by going to System/Reset/Reset and Update. It's downloading the beta 2 now.
