I had your same problem even before switching to M1. I have been using Razer products for 4 years and before Big Sur. Then, after Big Sur update, Synapse stopped working, same with M1.
the problem is not Apple, the problem is Razer that is not giving a...(you know) to his Mac users. Synapse has not been upgraded for years, and that’s a problem.
my solution? I had to stop using Razer products and switched to Logitech, which is a serious company that take care of various users.

@LiveRocker same for me! I had every kind of Razer products for years on Mac, but after Big Sur I’ve simply realized that Razer doesn’t care at Mac users, so why do I need to buy products from a company that is not considering me?
Switched to Logitech too, it’s incredible that is like a new beginning for me, a world where things simply works.
