Has there been any update on this? I'm using Xcode 15.0, Sonoma, and seeing this issue with all the simulators. The memory usage makes it impossible for us to run thru our suite of tests without it failing. And even if I use a 64 GB machine, it will skyrocket up to like 40 GB of memory usage. It takes whatever it can get.

I am having an issue regarding this when running our XCTest cases, where it will show an all white screen instead of the images for the image picker. It only happens when running our automation tests on an M1 and not Intel. We are using XCode 13.2.1.
Update:
This issue is more prevalent when running tests with Parallel Mode enabled. The sims will crash, xcode will freeze, an error will occur saying the testRunner has stopped, etc.
We are able to run the tests on an intel computer in parallel mode, but not on an m1.
Running the tests with Parallel mode disabled, the issues still occur sometimes, but def. not nearly as quick or often.
Can someone from apple (@jeremyhu) please give an update on this? This is a HUGE performance hit to our automation tests.
Any solutions to this yet? Without needing to delete and reinstall the app?
I am facing the same issue. Seems to occur the most on the Max device for me.
