I have the same issue
my MBP 2015 hangs then crashes and restart when i run any simulator > 13.0 for 10 mins
i don't know why , i tried to use iPhone 7 plus with iOS 15.5 and it was a temp fix for 6 months
now i am experiencing the same issue again
