I have OS Monterey 12.1 but seems like this problem is not going away with the Beta updates. On one hand, you could say that it is a Microsoft issue because they need to make their products compatible but on the other, you could argue that it only happened with the new update some 4-5 weeks ago. I haven't gone through this whole thread, just commenting on your reply.
