Try this:
Quit Xcode
Go to ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles/
Delete all provisioning profiles that are expired
Move the new provisioning profile into the directory
Launch Xcode

Did you ever find a solution for this? I have this issue for a long time with exactly the same stack trace and can't get rid of it.
Have you resolved this? I am seeing the same issue all of a sudden without doing any app update.
