App Store Review — In App Purchase Rejection
I’m providing an update to my iOS app and have been rejected three or four times this week with the update. The rejection is due to the reviewer “…unable to access purchased content.” The first rejection came when the reviewer could not reach the “result” screen. When attempting to access the screen, there’s an “error view” with user feedback instructing how to resolve the error. The reviewer rejected it, without even doing the instructions to resolve the issue (incomplete data entry). After providing instructions in a response (word for word pretty much what is stated in the app), the reviewer rejected the update again due to “…unable to access content.” While at the same time providing a screenshot of the result screen. I explained that the screenshot they sent with the result of the calculation is the in app purchase. The response: Upon further review, we were still unable to fully access the In App purchase items. To help us proceed with the review of your app, please reply to this message and providing the way to access the In App Purchase for review purpose. Best regards, App Store Review Because of the clear neglect from the reviewer, I issued an appeal. Today, I received an email stating they closed the appeal because the reviewer is requesting more information. Again, the reviewer sent a screenshot with access to the IAP content. I explained that the screenshot is showing the content. How am I supposed to further give access to content, when the content is provided in full, as indicated with the screenshot of the reviewer? The screen revealing the purchased content:
