Seekthyself, I downloaded the Apple Support app and sent in a chat describing the issues I was having. The person asked a couple of questions about my iPhone, cell service provider, and methods I’ve tried and then offered me this solution:
Change the name of your iPhone (Settings > General > About > Name).
Turn off your phone for 30 seconds and then back on.
For some reason, last night, this actually worked and the Roku streamed with 0 issues.
Today, I’m right back to square one with the same problems. I’ve tried renaming & restarting again, but I’ve had no luck! I’d suggest going through the support app - maybe they can find a solution for you. Good luck!!

I am having the same problems as the comment above. My Roku loads some of the channels (HBO, Hulu, etc.) and will show me all of the titles to stream, however I can’t actually watch any of them.. Same goes for my PlayStation 5… nothing will load at all.
I got excited when I saw people commenting that the issues were fixed with iOS 15.2 - so I eagerly updated my phone. Definitely regretting it, now. Nothing has changed.
If you’re like me and rely heavily on your phones hotspot: Do NOT update!
When I had the beta software, I had to restore a previous back-up and install the latest version of iOS 14 to get my hotspot to work again. Now that people are commenting on this thread complaining about the public iOS 15, I have no intentions of updating my phone until this issue is resolved. I hope they fix this, soon.
