By the magic of software updates this issue seems to have disappeared and I can now use latest AdMob SDK version with my app.

presentationMode.wrappedValue.dismiss() does not work either.
Your solution fixes this example. But as environmentObject makes object available to view’s subhierarchy that should not be needed.
And the dependency on Alert is still perplexing.
