Filed the same bug report.
Do they suggest that the users must have Screentime enabled before using such an app? So the developer would beed to know and ensure that they do this before(??, lol)
But thanks for sharing the reply, it at least answers the question if the user will be able to choose between devices.

FYI - the missing "all apps & categories" can be most likely ignored because you can do that by not setting any applications, categories or webDomains. :)
Ah just verified myself, setting the settings within the app works, but doesn't trigger my shield configuration.. thanks @clawoo
@clawoo do you mean by setting the ManagedSettingsStore within the app has an effect? (I filed a radar for the not working within an extension)
@yahalawa There is not much more to do, create the extension and go into the Info.plist and change the two fields. I would recommend now given the current beta's to create all three extensions even tho you might not use all of them. (e.g. action)
@clawoo for the family picker, your app needs to implement a mechnism to hide this from the child (either behind a passcode entry or completely) - I think Apple will not handle that for us.
@clawoo could you verify if any setting in the extension has an effect? I filed a report because in beta4 I now get a callback in the extension, but setting anything to blocked or shielded has no effect.
It worked for me - did you restore to beta 4 or update?
Do you mean "Erase all content & settings" and then install the new beta via restore image? Or do a real reset and then use the restore image?
