I am about to submit an app that allows the user to create pixel art and then mint the artwork as an nft the app uses the web3 library and connects to. The MetaMask wallet using wallecttconnectswift libraries. so when someone mints the nft, MetaMask is opened and they sign a transaction for the gas fees which then mints the nft. I’ve tried interpreting the apple rules about payments and this seems to be in line as it isn’t a payment for adding functionality to the app, it’s an external payment for a product. Similar to a shopping app or eBay etc. At least that’s what I am assuming but I might be completely misinterpreting the rules. it may be possible to set the payment method up differently as a consumable IAP but it would be impossible as the gas fees vary wildly for etherium transactions so it would t be possible to change the price of the IAP to reflect this dynamically. any guidance would be appreciated.
