Reply to Big Sur Mac Crash 4 times in the last 6 hours - 2 no-report and 2 reports
I have been having this problem since upgrading to Big Sur. Currently on 11.1. Crashing at least 1-2x a day and even in the middle of the night when the computer is on, but not even being used. Other forums I have looked at recommended a reinstall if the other suggestions they had didn't work. I did a total reinstall about 10 days ago including wiping the entire disc and it has not resolved anything. System: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) Processor: 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB I am using no external monitors and no external drives. I do use Dropbox and all data/content on my computer, except for programs, goes into dropbox on my harddrive and synced online. I have noticed that my selective sync and being able to show the options for getting a dropbox link in the Finder are acting pretty wonky - oftentimes not there. I use imessage a ton and am noticing issues with being able to text/send to android phones. I have double and triple checked settings (I have used this feature for years.). One thing I did notice yesterday while trying to find some photos on a shared icloud folder is that when I go to icloud on my imac, it seems to want to connect my imac's user password to icloud, rather than my icloud password. I couldn't access the shared photos folder on safari or chrome. If I logged into the photos on my iphone, the files were all there. I'm wondering if there is some sort of issue with username/identity as even two-factor authentication is messed up, not sending to my apple watch or imessages but it is sending to my older laptop. Here's my report. Any ideas welcome. Error is always related to "watchdog". This is getting old and I'm losing a lot of work as well as my patience. ________________________ panic(cpu 1 caller 0xffffff801cf6ea25): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from com.apple.logd in 120 seconds service returned not alive with context : unresponsive dispatch queue(s): com.apple.firehose.io-wl service: com.apple.logd, total successful checkins since wake (52970 seconds ago): 5286, last successful checkin: 120 seconds ago service: com.apple.WindowServer, total successful checkins since wake (52970 seconds ago): 5287, last successful checkin: 110 seconds ago Backtrace (CPU 1), Frame : Return Address 0xffffffb0bb75b670 : 0xffffff8019cb9aed 0xffffffb0bb75b6c0 : 0xffffff8019dfc6e3 0xffffffb0bb75b700 : 0xffffff8019decd1a 0xffffffb0bb75b750 : 0xffffff8019c5ea2f 0xffffffb0bb75b770 : 0xffffff8019cb938d 0xffffffb0bb75b890 : 0xffffff8019cb9678 0xffffffb0bb75b900 : 0xffffff801a4be434 0xffffffb0bb75b970 : 0xffffff801cf6ea25 0xffffffb0bb75b980 : 0xffffff801cf6e678 0xffffffb0bb75b9a0 : 0xffffff801a44569e 0xffffffb0bb75b9f0 : 0xffffff801cf6dab4 0xffffffb0bb75bb20 : 0xffffff801a44f86b 0xffffffb0bb75bc80 : 0xffffff8019da7d81 0xffffffb0bb75bd90 : 0xffffff8019cbf0e7 0xffffffb0bb75be00 : 0xffffff8019c95905 0xffffffb0bb75be60 : 0xffffff8019cad012 0xffffffb0bb75bef0 : 0xffffff8019dd0ec3 0xffffffb0bb75bfa0 : 0xffffff8019c5f216    Kernel Extensions in backtrace:      com.apple.driver.watchdog(1.0)[7AE04EA4-D026-39A0-B2D5-5C9E4EE72967]@0xffffff801cf6d000->0xffffff801cf6efff Process name corresponding to current thread: watchdogd Mac OS version: 20C69 Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 20.2.0: Wed Dec 2 20:39:59 PST 2020; root:xnu-7195.60.75~1/RELEASEX8664 Kernel UUID: 82E2050C-5936-3D24-AD3B-EC4EC5C09E11 KernelCache slide: 0x0000000019a00000 KernelCache base: 0xffffff8019c00000 Kernel slide:   0x0000000019a10000 Kernel text base: 0xffffff8019c10000 HIB text base: 0xffffff8019b00000 System model name: iMac15,1 (Mac-42FD25EABCABB274) System shutdown begun: NO Panic diags file available: YES (0x0) Hibernation exit count: 0 System uptime in nanoseconds: 202712377676289 Last Sleep:     absolute     basetsc     basenano  Uptime : 0x0000b85da743544c  Sleep : 0x0000882d7d8c2b4b 0x0000000044cb7e31 0x0000881f179e1c33  Wake  : 0x0000882d84991dcc 0x00000000449cf97f 0x0000882d83f1be56 last started kext at 198780834543464: >usb.!UUserHCI 1 (addr 0xffffff7fba59d000, size 98304) last stopped kext at 198866529322531: >usb.!UUserHCI 1 (addr 0xffffff7fba59d000, size 98304) loaded kexts: !A!BMultitouch 99AudioAUUC 1.70!APlatformEnabler 2.7.0d0AGPM 119X86PlatformShim 1.0.0 @fsplaceholder 1.13.2 @fileutil 20.036.15!AUpstreamUserClient 3.6.8 @kext.AMDFramebuffer 4.0.2 @filesystems.autofs 3.0 @kext.AMDRadeonX4000 4.0.2 @kext.AMDRadeonServiceManager 4.0.2!AMikeyHIDDriver 131!AGraphicsDevicePolicy 6.2.2!AMikeyDriver 283.15 @AGDCPluginDisplayMetrics 6.2.2pmtelemetry 1LuaHardwareAccess 1.0.16 |IOUserEthernet 1.0.1!AHDA 283.15 |IO!BSerialManager 8.0.2f9 @DontStealMacOS_X 7.0.0!AHV 1!A!IHD5000Graphics 16.0.1!ASMCLMU 212!ADiskImages2 1!AMCCSControl 1.14!A!ISlowAdaptiveClocking 4.0.0!A!IFramebufferAzul 16.0.1eficheck 1 @kext.AMD7000!C 4.0.2!AThunderboltIP 4.0.3!ALPC 3.1 @filesystems.tmpfs 1 @filesystems.hfs.kext 556.60.1 @BootCache 40
