Updated to IOS 14.1 on my iPad and the WiFi random drops are still happening !
experienced two drops already just trying to write this post.
tried all the resets and still the same.
So are people reporting this bug ? I dont understand why it was fixed, if it was present in the original IOS 14 roll out ?
Still present on 14.01 and 14.1
What about 14.2 latest beta ?
The key problem for me and many others is that IOS 14 has lost its wifi strength and will drop out with two bars still showing. About five pads in recent years and never had a problem in the house with wifi and another device using 13 has no problems. So its down to IOS 14 and none of the work arounds work to remedy the problem.
In pure frustration i did an 'erase all content and settings' on my ipad air 3 and the problem of random wifi dropping is stil happening.
Some users with wifi problems on 14 might have there issue resolved with turning of private network and disabling vpn. But the core problem most are facing is dropping wifi unless your standing next to the hub.
So has anyone got an answer to this wifi problem from apple support ?
Its near on what three months now and a number of updates and the wifi dropping problem is still present.
Will it be fixed in 14.3 ?
Ive never had any wifi issues going back years with ipad, until IOS 14+
