The problem was solved by absolutely completely reinstalling Xcode. And manually deleting each of these folders:
/Applications/Xcode.app
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.dt.Xcode
~/Library/Developer
~/Library/MobileDevice
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dt.Xcode.plist
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dt.Xcode.plist
