Hello, I had filed a radar for this but did not receive a follow-up yet, could you please double-check it went to the right team? FB15307407

Update: I am still unable to reproduce this on iPhone 15 Pro. So it must be an iPhone 16 exclusive problem.
Thanks for the update; that’s wild if true!
I am currently installing the latest beta as well and will report back if I can reproduce this then.
Hey appreciate your input on this. I just tried this, but it didn't fix my problem unfortunately :/
Hello @Engineer, thanks again for taking the time to look at this. From my experience this seems to be fixed in the latest iOS 18.1 beta (22B5069a), however my feedback report resolution still says "Open". Could you please verify if this has been fixed?

@Bxmakaveli51 For me it’s finally fixed on the latest beta of iOS 18.1 (22B5069a), but I am on an iPhone 15 Pro, so there might be a difference.
Would be pretty bad though if we had to recommend our users turning off Apple intelligence 🤣
Hey @Maximillian-Dev thanks for your additional feedback!
I have looked at my code again multiple times and I couldn't find any issues with it.
I was actually able to reproduce this in a condensed, simple sample project that I have attached to my radar (in case anyone from Apple is reading this: FB15190710 ).
I am also able to reproduce this on any other apps that are on the App Store that offer this kind of "block all / allow-list" functionality.
This is not possible unfortunately due to privacy reasons.
Even worse, in this thread we are talking about how Apple provides different tokens for the same app – so our app can’t even provide a consistent behavior for apps that have been selected by the user.
blank icons sometimes happen to me if the app is not installed on the device itself.
That’s super interesting! It makes sense, because on a fresh install without 3rd party apps the picker does not crash, only if more and more 3rd party apps are installed, it begins to crash at some point.
It really shows the problem here: Apple QA is testing this in a white box and says "works for me", but doesn't consider that users in the real world have more than 20 apps on their phone...
Hello, any roadmap when this will be addressed? OP wrote it has been reported two years ago already…
Hey @Maximillian-Dev thanks for presenting your solution below! I think your issue was a different one than mine (sounds like you had a force unwrap crash?)
Hello, thank you for your feedback!
Usually I never get a reply when I send a feedback report, that’s why I have written the post on the forum here.
Thanks a lot for your feedback & help!
HealthKit Background Delivery is enabled. I couldn't find any documentation on the frequency that sleep samples are delivered in, however.
It is still present on the latest iOS 18.1 beta as well unfortunately :/
Just uploaded a new sysdiagnose to my radar, in case anyone from the screen time team reads this, hope it helps: FB14082790
