Could not repair hardwares on a Big Sur beta Mac w/ T2 Chip
I have been using macOS Big Sur for quite some time now and my screen recently crack at my own fault. I took my MacBook 16 to the local Apple Store and requested a hardware service. They ran an AST MRI(Apple service toolkit Mac resource inspector) on my Mac then told me my mac could not be fixed due to the restrictions of the T2 chip. The technician explained to me that macOS Big Sur has updated the firmware on the T2 Chips inside my Mac. Since most hardware repairs needs to reconfigure the T2 Chip so it could recognise changed parts during security preboot, even if they fixed my screen, my Mac still won't function. Is it possible to downgrade the T2 Chip firmware? Are there any workarounds? I really need to work with my MacBook and I just can't wait that long. Thanks for your help!
