Cannot work with an external G Drive (backup) any more because Disk Not Ejected properly message occurs every time my computer sleeps. I also lose the external monitor and if I want it back I must unplug it or restart my Macbook pro. Apple support instructed reformat the hard drive. It didn't fix it but wasted a day of my life and important work. Apple is making life more complicated by the moment - a huge departure from the whole concept of Apple.
