Check your connector. Look in the bottom of the iPhone, try using a toothpick to see if there is lint caught in there (happens a LOT). If not, then check the cable. Do the connectors look warn? The lightening end of the cable will wear out eventually (about every 18 months for me). Try another cable.

Xcode works for me, but any of my own apps won't launch with this error.
I have tried targeting Rosetta, MyMac, and local. I am code signing with a dev cert (Not run local).
This is terrible solution for hobbyist developers. I have lot of small apps that I don't update all that often. I can still run Visual Studio 2005 on my Windows 10 machine. I would expect Xcode to run for as long as the ecosystem is still needed.
I doubt there will be a discount, other than a developer discount if you are registered. I haven’t seen the cost posted anywhere yet. It will be interesting. I have a Mac Mini with 32GB of RAM. They didn’t mention emulating the new silicon on old hardware either.
You should check with the MDM provider if they have permissions on the device to allow certain things. I know my company installs some apps on my phone, but I still get the permission dialogs on most of them. One I do not is a security app that comes from IT. It can check my version of iOS and make sure I am not out of date and then prompts me to upgrade if I am.
