Getting initial IAP reviewed and approved - a problem
Hello. I understand that in order to get my first IAP approved, I need to submit it with a build of the App. This may be wrong - but what I have been told. IAP implementation is the last thing I need to do to prepare the app for release. So I built the app with some basic IAP purchase/restore functionality, setup a single IAP and submitted the app for review. The reason for this from my perspective is to get the IAP approved so I can complete testing of the app - specifically the IAP integration. The review came back saying that the IAP purchase functionality in the app was failing, hence a bug and thus the app failed review. I replied back that I need the first IAP approved so the app can allow the testing user to purchase it - without the IAP approved the app does fail in an expected manner - described in the notes of the submission. They simply replied in the same manner. How can I submit a build of the app which includes IAP purchasing, when they have not approved the IAP and will not approve the IAP as the app fails to allow the IAP to be purchased? Seems a catch 22. I'm sure I must be missing something here. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you.
