I turned off WPA3 & Protected Management Frames (which was optional) on my Ubiquiti U6-LR. No improvement for me (2019 MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.6.3). I have two laptops exhibiting the same issues (same laptop models). I updated one of them to Monterey and the problem is resolved. I was finally able to connect the other laptop to my guest network once I also disabled the 5GHz band.
