hi @matt9 , I own a 2019 MacBook Pro with macOS Sonoma 14.2 and I've the issue as mentioned above.
Using a dongles chain my Firewire Edirol FA-66 is recognizes as conected hardware but the lack of drivers prevents any software from detecting it.
I disabled SIP and tried your AppleFWAudioVentura.pkg, but it crashes on Sonoma.
Is there is any chance of creating a patch specifically for Sonoma?
Alternatively, does anyone know of another method to install the missing AppleFWAudio.kext?
