Yup, everything is fixed and a new player has been found for IOS meaning they managed to get in.

I also recieved a response yesterday from a DTS engineering manager and got pretty close to the same answer so it seems they are dealing with our issue similtaniously. They are saying it could be an issue with Game Center services at my submission, a configuration issue with metadata or an incorrectly processed app submission. I doubt it's the first since it happened for such a long time. I'm a little suspicious too but I will attempt to publish a build for release and see what happens.
I am particularly aggravated at the fact that you have now attempted to send me on a fruitless wild goose chase to go after Unity to fix potential issues with the plugin Apple has authored and waste more of my time. What a ridiculous idea. They didn't make your company's plugins, they can't fix them, that's Apple's responsibility."
Let me know if it fixes the issues as I'm reluctant to do it since I'm only releasing in 8 countries right now and I want to be sure.
I completely forgot you mentioned that so I followed up my email with another
"In fact here's a follow up email because there is some information I have missed out and I'm not happy about it. This isn't actually the first time you have replied to a developer claiming that you don't support third-party resources on this issue. This actually happened last week with the other developer I spoke of. Do you not get that Apple has authored these plugins? Why has this happened twice now?...
team because this case was misdirected to the wrong support team and now I'm being told that I cannot be helped on plugins Apple has authored!"
the App store before I can use Game Center. If this is actually the case, do you not think that it is important to inform developers that their app must be released first so that they don't waste their time implementing features that won't work unless their app is released?
Quite frankly, this whole situation has been a nightmare and I'm aggravated at the confusion and time wasted on this issue and the way it's being handled. I have waited over an entire month to talk to someone from your...
Here's what he said support told him.
"This error means your app is not listed in the marketplace you are trying to access. This is not something you can remedy at code level in your app, but on AppstoreConnect or the marketplace you are using your app with."
Well, we have Game Center enabled and it works on Testflight but whenever the bloody reviewer tests it he gets the issues I've referenced.
So unless there is a bug on Appstore Connect I can only assume my app needs to be released on...
others this goal hasn't been met. I can also clearly see he's the main contributor on the GitHub page in which the plugins are downloaded https://github.com/apple/unityplugins so I'm certain Apple is responsible for these plugins. You're telling me that support cannot be provided by Apple on Plugins that they have created?
Let me ask you this because I've been talking to some other developer called CM-InnoTec who has had this issue and support responded something different to him....
"Hello,
What do you mean this should be addressed by Unity? Why on earth would they address this? These are Apple authored plugins and therefore not third-party. You have an entire video by Jared Marsau (https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2022/10065/) a software engineer at Apple dedicated to this and he says "Our goal is to bring you the latest features, no matter what tool your using. Starting today, enhance your games with a new set of Unity Plugins." and right now for me and...
They finally got back to me a month and a day later and they've just said
"We’ve determined that your question should be addressed by the support channel for Unity, the third-party resource you're using.
DTS supports developers using Apple-authored tools and frameworks only. We're unable to provide support for third-party tools, development environments, tutorials, or other resources.
Thank you for understanding our support policies."
Here's what I've just responded with....
I guess that means that we have to release a version without Game Center and then quickly release a version with it in order to solve the issue. What a completely backwards way of doing things. The fact that they choose not to tell developers that Game Center won't work unless you have a version of your app released is absurd and at this stage I'm going to start blasting Apple on social media for this whole fiasco they have created.
as opposed to a Google Developer account on top of having to buy expensive hardware and their support are leaps and bounds better in both addressing issues and response time.
I honestly cannot stand Apple and their incompitence when it comes to communication and the fact that they willlingly ignore parts of what you tell them in place of others in order to dismiss your problem rather than actually trying to address the issue, because I have experienced this with them as well. They have a serious problem with their support and they ought to spend more money in improving it because it's completely unaccepable that we spend 5x the amount on an Apple Developer account...
Any responses to your code-level support request yet? I'm still waiting for the team to respond and I've sent a complaint to the senior advisor.
The only update I've gotten is that the senior advisor finally contacted me on Friday 1 hour after I sent another complaint. The important part of the email was:
"I understand that you are trying to reach code-level support, but your inquiry has been misrouted to Apple Developer Program Support instead.
I've forwarded your request to the code-level support team. They will follow up with you directly if they need any further information."
So I guess we are waiting again.
