What a nightmare this 11 Big Sir Update has been. I have 5 or 6 different Canon model MFP's in my enterprise and everyone that has updated to 11 now can't print. I am able to fix about half of them by resetting the Printing System, rebooting, and re-installing the drivers. I note that because Apples instructions on resetting the printing system leaves off the reboot.

OK a little bit of an update, if I change the name of the printer it starts working. Something gets corrupted in the printer profile when you upgrade to 11 and its often not resolved by resetting the printing system and then re-installing. I think this has something to do with the printer keeping the same name. If I change the name it works. So its like the bug is stuck in the OS after resetting the printing system. Changing the name creates a new printer profile and it works again.
We use a mass printer deployment tool and changing the name of the printer every single time someone upgrades to OS X isn't going to work.
