Reply to How long it takes to get Apple Developer Account?
Mine is rolling into the 7th month now and still pending. Here's the brief story of the greatest frustration of my life. I applied to the apple developer programme on march 2024, then proceeded to submit all my corporate information as required. An advisor also called me for follow up and everything was approved adequately and I was told to pay $99, so on 2nd April 2024, I paid my $99 To my surprise, all the information that was approved was asked again under the 'business' menu which I supplied again so that I can accept paid app agreement, but this time, my submitted information was 'pending' for months. I sent almost 100 emails and calls, but I only got responded once a week.and the response was always that I should be patient that my information was being verified.this is sad because my subscription was already burning meanwhile the same info was earlier approved during enrollment. Do note that without the approval, I can't sign paid app agreement and that means my apps all have to be free. At around my 100th email, my corporate information was approved on 27th August 2024. At last, I was sad and glad and I rushed to my bank to get my banking information so as not to have issues with that. I submitted my banking info immediately, buy sadly till this moment 20th of October, it is also 'pending'. I have resumed contacting them but only get replied once a week with statement that I should be patient for my banking info to be verified. I still can't release paid app agreement because my information was said to still being verified since 2 April. That $99 was a lot to me.but they collected it and waste away my enrollment period while leaving me and my business to rot. 2 April 2024 - 20th Oct 2024, I have gone from one frustration to another. I belief my case is rare. At this moment,I am sad and I have already given up on the case because I have sent more than 20mails already and also called (they claim dev. Programme support can only be contacted by mail) They ruined my business and proved to me I don't worth anything. If I have money,I would sue them,but God knows I can't afford that. Currently seeking another $99 to make another enrollment,this time,I will enroll as individual and not corporate (even though my business is valid without a single blemish) It's a sad experience for me that hasn't been resolved.
