I experience wifi connectivity problems on all family's iphones and ipods since updating to iOS 14. First i thought the problem is my router, i let change him for a new one, but the problem persists. I reset all network settings, then all the settings on my iphone, without any change.
All my devices when on sleep mode, they go off wifi, and they cannot reconnect to wifi after opening the applications. When browsing the search engines, it's impossible to open websites - the messages appears: "the wifi network does not appear to be connected to the internet: use mobile data or keep trying wifi".
Whatsapp when opening the app is only "connecting", messages cannot be sent for a few minutes.
The exact same issues as user RSCHENEN. I am citing his post:
"When the phone goes to sleep and I reawaken it, the wifi is not joined like it always has. It takes a while for the available wifi possibilities become available and then I have to pick which one to join. Once I join it stays connected as long as I am using my phone but if it goes to sleep the problem recurs upon be reawakened"
It's very annoying and i strongly hope Apple will fix this issue as soon as possible!
