I believe this feature was added in Swift 5.4

I'm experiencing this same issue. I'm running Monterey on an M1 Mac mini.
I don't know much about it but apparently, a 4X4 matrix is pretty standard for anything having to do with 3D models.

I have something similar. Views are showing up in my Library, but not modifiers, even when I have the canvas open.
I'm using Xcode 12.4 and Big Sur 11.2.2.
