I am glad that I am not the only one this is affecting. I sent in a bug report to the feedback app several days ago. I even called Apple Support which escalated it to the engineers only to have them say there is nothing that they can offer as to why. I’ve done everything under the sun as far as toggling various items on and off in settings. I’ve even removed all my devices from my iCloud account, factory reset my beta phone, set up as new, etc. Downgraded from the beta, still nothing. Went back to the beta when beta 2 was released hoping it would fix the issue, but it still hangs on. The fact that this error trickled down to my primary non-beta devices tells me it’s not a device problem. It definitely seems that iOS 15 beta 1 did something to our Apple ID’s and/or iCloud account that has them stuck. If someone gets anywhere with this please let me know. It’s really upsetting that my primary devices are now affected and I can no longer keep check on my family.

It would seem that way. I believe I first noticed the issue when I did a restore on beta 1. Seems as if people that didn’t do any type of restore weren’t affected. We need to make sure this gets seen it’s a major service outage for those of us that are affected.
Thank you for your thoroughness. I exhausted all options at troubleshooting on my end. The fix lies on Apple and the iCloud team. I’ve been sending in feedback as well and I see the same as you. Please keep us updated on anything you learn!
I know I shouldn't be complaining over a beta, but the fact that I use the beta on a phone strictly for testing and the bug spread to my primary non-beta devices is what has me in an uproar. Definitely needs to be a priority fix.
Try being the ****** that bought the Hermes airtags 👋🏻 And I have Apple Card so it’s not like I can just make a new Apple ID. Something must be done!
Update: the revised iOS beta 2 that released today did not solve the issue. At this stage I do not believe an os update will fix the issue. It is clearly server related and will need to be patched on that end.
I have no other options. My Apple Card is on my account and can’t be moved to another Apple ID without closing it out and I’m not about to ***** up my credit score over this bug. There would be some seriously considered legal actions before that happens.
Did you do anything different to make it work?
Glad you guys got fixed, unfortunately it is not fixed for me. Even tried signing out of iCloud and back in, rebooted the phone and still nothing.
Issue is still present for me. Did you do anything different on your end like a restore or something?
Hopefully they identified the bug and now just applying the fix across the servers. Fingers crossed they’ll get to me.
I still have the problem. I’ve restarted and signed out and everything but it’s still happening for me.
It’s not solved for me, unfortunately
Absolutely! I was surprised he responded to me. He said to give the servers 24 hours to see if it clears up. He told me to give him an update if nothing changes so I will keep you guys updated.
It is now!
