I have the same issue and I noticed this issue happens when switching between GPU. if settings "Automatic Graphic switch" on when screen saver shows or HDMI plugged computer switches to the Radeon GPU and it freezes. Issue is fixed when I switched "Automatic Graphic switch" off and now computer always uses Radeon as GPU.
