Service worker support is great in iOS 11 beta. But with Javascript in Safari on iOS being disabled by default that doesnt help us much. Users will go to a PWA app website, it wont work (becasue javascript and service worker are disabled by default in Safari on iOS) and they wont bother going back or will assume your site is broken. So the huge question on my mind is.... Will Apple turn javascript on in iOS 11 beta by default so service workers will work for users visiting the sites? People are nototiously lazy. FEW will go thru the 4-5 steps to manually turn on javascript in safari on ios. Only devtech type people usually do that. Try it. Ask someone non-devtech "Do you have javascript enabled on your Safari?" Then watch their dumbfounded look. Non-devtech people won't know or care and won't turn it on manually. PWA will be disabled as long as javascript is also disabled.
