xcode bindings no app delegate applescript

I am following a simple applescriptobjectivec tutorial and I am trying to link a text box to the appDelegate. However on my xcode, I can't bind to the appDelegate as there is no option. There is delegate and application, should I use one of those? myxcode ,hisxcode
