Mobile Cards That Support Metal?

I know there are two API calls for metal


  1. MTLCreateSystemDefaultDevice()
  2. MTLCopyAllDevices()


but I wanted to know if the Nvidia Quadro K2100 supports metal specifically. It is the most powerful mxm 3.0a card I've been able to track down. I am atttempting to keep this 2011 imac still alive. Thanks.

I'm afraid you are out of luck. Only GPUs from 2012 or later are supported. The names and models of GPUs is not what matters, but what Mac you have. Any GPU in these Macs will be supported. Always refer to the GPU Familiy list.
