Thanks but I'm a developer and looking for developer responses not the general public. especially if someone has issues with a particular SDK that causes a big slow down in computations like random number generation, memory access, etc.

If you’re developing something then I recommend you make your own measurements. The impact of this change — well, any change really — will depend on the type of work being done, so it’s best to profile with the type of work you care about.
