What Wi-Fi protocol does Xcode use… | Apple Developer Forums

We can't use wireless connection with Xcode and devices due to Wi-Fi restrictions. We need to open up for diffrent protocols via our ISP.

Like our Homekit lightbulbs use the CoAP protocol. I can't find any information about Xcode protocol.

IEEE 802.11 wireless LANs use a media access control protocol called Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA).

Can your devices iTunes sync via wi-fi? My guess is that Xcode rides the same path.
