EXEC_BAD_ACCESS code 1 when using frame debugger

I am trying to debug my app by looking at what is in each of my texture objects. This is currently impossible because whenever I try to capture a frame I get a EXEC_BAD_ACCESS crash on my buffer.commit() call.


What kinds of things might be causing this?

Are you on Sierra? They told me that they aren't going to fix it.
