Hello, I'm currently exploring the possibility of using TestFlight for external testing. According to the 'Testing Apps with TestFlight' page, 'any in-app purchases made during testing will not carry over to public versions.'
However after testing this on two seperate profiles on an iPhone and an iPad, the purchases I made in TestFlight are appearing in Production after opting out of testing, expiring the build and deleting the app and reinstalling it from the AppStore on both profiles.
Neither account has any payment method set up, so its not possible that I accidently made real purchases in production.
Can anyone explain why these purchases are showing up after testing? Having free testflight purchases carry over into production will negativly impact the app if this were to happen in an actual testing scenario.
