I have purchased an AVP Receiver from Marantz (8802A). I'm outputing sound via the HDMI out. My previous Onkyo receiver was able to let me play 2ch-24Bit-48KHz audio without any issues. Nothing has changed otherwise (apart from the receiver). Is there a way to force use a sample rate or bit rate in the core audio audio midi app of osx? I am already able to play/listen to 2ch-16Bit-48Khz, but as I'm working with Pro Tools sessions of 24Bit, I'm losing/degrading the audio on playback/monitoring.
Any ideas if i can force tell it to do so via terminal or command line (or enter a developer mode in the app so it outputs at other rates other than the default detected ones only)?
